Spring 2018 Commencement Ceremony

There are 2 ceremonies held each Spring the first one is for students who have completed their AAS Degree, Certificates, Short-term Training or their Illinois High School Equivalency.  The second ceremony is for students who have completed their AS, AA, AE, or AFA Degree.

Ceremony one (AAS Degrees, Certificates, Short-term Training or the Illinois High School Equivalency):

  • 9:00 a.m. Check-in Desk/Line-up area for the Ceremony in the Conference Center (A1222).
  • 10:00 a.m. ceremony begins in the Gymnasium
    • Light refreshments served after the Ceremony

Ceremony two (AS, AA, AE, or AFA Degrees):

  • 10:00 a.m. Check-in Desk/Line-up area for the Ceremony in the Conference Center (A1222).
  • 11:00 a.m. ceremony begins in the Gymnasium
    • Light refreshments served after the Ceremony

***The ceremony will proceed and not be cancelled due to inclement weather.

Kishwaukee College celebrates student completion of Degrees and Certificates. All students who have petitioned to graduate for the Spring 2018 semester are invited to attend this year’s Spring Commencement Ceremony. All participants must have met the application deadline date of April 1st 2018.

Graduates will receive more details about the ceremony when cap and gown orders are picked-up. Watch for myKC portal announcements and your student email for cap and gown pick-up dates.

Spring Nursing Program Pinning Ceremony

Nursing Program Pinning Ceremony will be held on Wednesday May 16,2018 in the Jenkins Auditorium. Breakfast with the Dean will be on Wednesday May 16, 2018 from 8-9:00 am in A1273E. The purpose of this breakfast is for students to provide feedback on the program for improvement. Pinning practice will take place immediately following the breakfast on May 16, 2018 from 9-10:30 am.

Guest Information

If you have a guest attending Commencement who may need accommodations please note the following:

  • A sign language interpreter will be available in the gymnasium.
  • A captioner will be available in the gymnasium.
  • Limited FM Loops are available in Jenkins Auditorium.

Due to high demand, limited priority seating for physical disabilities and those needing service of the sign language interpreter will be available on a first come, first serve basis.
