Hybrid BNA Train-the-Trainer Instructor Course with Alzheimer’s Disease Component

The Continuing Education department is offering an IDPH Train-the-Trainer Instructor Course in Fall 2017.

This Hybrid course (a nine week combination of face-to-face class meetings and online components) is designed for nursing professionals with a current Illinois RN license and a minimum of two years nursing experience, at least one year of which must be within the provision of long term care facilities services. Completion of the Train-the-Trainer Instructor Course prepares nursing professionals in Illinois to teach a Basic Nursing Assistant Training Program (BNA-TP).

Completion of the course also provides 35 CE contact hours.
