Athletics to hold Latino Heritage Night

Kishwaukee College Athletics will be celebrating Latino Heritage on Tuesday, October 17, as part of the College’s Hispanic Heritage Month activities. This event is open to the public.

Beginning at 4:00p.m. in the balcony and lounge areas near the gym, El Sol Restaurant from Rochelle will be selling tacos, flautas, and tostadas at $1.50 for a single serving.  Two servings with side orders of rice and beans will be available for $5.00.  There will also be free Loteria games for attendees to play; winners will receive prizes. Attendees can enjoy recorded Latin music while they participate in the activities.

The Kish Volleyball team will be taking on Illinois Valley Community College at 6:00p.m. Participants in Latino Heritage Night are welcome to watch the volleyball action and cheer on the Kougars.
