Physical Science

Physical Science is used to describe any science that focuses on inanimate matter and/or energy.  Because of this, the traditional “hard sciences” of physics, chemistry, astronomy and geology all can be called Physical Sciences.

General Physical Science coursework typically involves study in all of these areas without particular emphasis in any one of them.  Courses in Physical Sciences give students an opportunity to explore a broad-based science curricula that allows investigation of the inter-connectedness of the hard sciences.
