Financial Aid

Your education is an investment in your future and obtaining financial aid to help fund your education can be a daunting process. The Financial Aid Program(s) at Kishwaukee College are available to eligible students who are pursuing a degree or certificate. The Financial Aid Office staff is committed to helping you identify your options for grants, scholarships, student loans and work study and guiding you through the process.

  • 2017-18 FAFSA available for Spring and Summer 2018. The IRS Data Retrieval Tool is not available for 2017-18, you will need your 2015 tax & income documents to complete the FAFSA.
  • 2018-2019 FAFSA is available for Fall 2018, Spring 2019, and Summer 2019.  The DRT is available for 2018-19.  Using the DRT and not changing any of the information will result in faster review and less documentation to submit to our office.
  • 2017 Tax Year- Federal Tax Benefits for Higher Education

Students must apply for financial aid every year using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The FAFSA becomes available October 1 each year for the upcoming school year.
